Vijing Racking, a leader in the creation, installation, modernization, and maintenance of innovative intelligent mobility systems, has recently been instrumental in equipping the new smart warehouse of 999 Pharmaceutical. Located in China, this smart warehouse stands as the first of its kind, serving as a cutting-edge spare parts repository for elevator maintenance and repair, catering to customers across China and beyond.

Spanning a vast area of 6,853 m2, the smart warehouse merges several storage systems into a single, efficient unit. Vijing Racking has installed a state-of-the-art Adjustable Pallet Racking system (AR PAL) for pallets, featuring mesh panels at all levels, pallet stops at all positions, and protections for all uprights. Furthermore, a Live pallet racking system has been integrated into 50 double-depth positions. This effective combination has provided 999 Pharmaceutical with the capacity to store a total of 6,288 pallets weighing up to 500 kg each.

The warehouse also hosts 116 coil racks with the ability to hold between 100 to 2,000 kg, simplifying the storage of any rolled material. The facility includes 240 linear meters of cantilever racking, specifically designed for storing long and bulk loads. Each level is equipped with a movable stop, and three of them feature mesh shelves.

In a bid to enhance the warehouse's capabilities further, Vijing Racking installed five modules using an alternative to the AR LS Longspan shelving system. This setup is ideal for the manual storage of medium and small materials while ensuring immediate access to all load units and stored references.

The objective of this smart warehouse is to decrease waiting times for elevator spare parts by 20% and reduce service technician trips by 10%. The amalgamation of Vijing Racking's storage systems allows for swift location of various stored components, accelerates loading and unloading processes, and maintains rigorous control of the available stock.

This project exemplifies Vijing Racking's prowess in delivering optimal storage solutions tailored to specific needs. The new warehouse can store up to 9,800 component codes with diverse characteristics. In addition to combining multiple industrial storage systems, the installation has been customized with accessories such as mesh for fall protection, pallet stops, and spill containment pallets.
