The Cantonese Logistics Operator Kaitong opened up its new logistics centre at Longgang District Shenzhen, with a robust capacity along with 36,000 pallets delivered by warehouse solution specialist Vijing Racking.

“Wel-organized storage and logistics areas will continue in high demand, since the retailers and ecommerce platform are increasing the stock” explained by Alex Zhao, Supply chain Manager of Kaitong Logistics.

Rapid Planning and Execution Period
The warehouse was constructed within an impressive 8 months, with the storage project led by Vijing Racking completed in just 16 weeks. “We appreciated Vijing Racking the most for the quality of its structures, its diligent engineering and project management, and its ability to meet tight deadlines," said the Branch Manager of Kaitong Logistics. The property was built to the Gold Standard of the Chinese Green Building Council and also created approximately 60 new jobs in Shenzhen, China.

This is the second logistics terminal in Shenzhen, which has expanded the customer portfolio and strengthened relationships with existing clients who are broadening their collaboration with Kaitong Logistics. These clients belong to diverse sectors such as the medical industry, ecommerce industry, and even the pet food industry. As explained by the project manager at Vijing Racking, "we chose to design, manufacture, and install this adjustable pallet racking solution because it adapts to all types of unit loads and diverse mechanical resources." Being a selective system, access to goods is direct and immediate, which accelerates loading and unloading times for operators.
